Camp Thunderbird is located off NM-35 in Mimbres, NM in the Gila National Forest.
From Silver City
Head east on US-180 E/Silver Heights Blvd.
Turn left onto NM-152 N
and follow for 14.5 miles.

Make a left onto NM-35 N and continue for 13 miles.
​
Find us on the left.
From Las cruces
Merge onto I-10 W
Follow I-10 W/US-180 W for 80.1 miles.
​
Make a right onto NM-61 and continue until you reach NM-152.
​
Turn left onto NM-152 for less than a mile.
Take a right onto NM-35 and continue for 13 miles.

Find us on the left.
From

Merge onto I-25 S for 10.6 miles.

Take exit 63 for NM-152 toward Hillsboro
​
Turn right onto NM-152 S
and follow for 51.1 miles.
​
Turn right onto NM-35 N and continue for 13 miles.
